About me

Teacher of English and Basque with a PhD in USA, publications and congresses.

Hello! My name is Ainhoa and from a very young age I learned Spanish, English and Basque at the same time by attending an Irish school in the Basque Country. This allowed me to carry out my postgraduate training in Amsterdam and the United States, mainly, obtaining my European Doctoral Thesis with an Extraordinary Doctorate Award. As well, learning Basque from my early years facilitated its improvement after completing my doctorate. This has led me to teach at the University where I have taught classes in Spanish and Basque, complemented with the use of English in scientific publications and international conferences. I am currently accredited with level C1 in English, Certificate in Advanced English and level C1 in Basque, Accreditation from the University of the Basque Country (UPV EHU) to teach in Basque. I consider that both languages are very useful and versatile and the fact of having studied and practiced them since I was young allows me to share my knowledge easily. I hope that as they have been key tools to develop many aspects of myself, they can also be key tools for my future potential students.
