Hey! I'm Ahlam, I've earned my bachelor's degree in psychology and English Literature, and I have also earned a teaching Certificate in English (TESOL), both are earned from Tel-Aviv University. I've got four years of experience in teaching Spoken and Formal Arabic for Non-native students as part of a scholarship, and I'm a former Fulbright Arabic teaching assistant, I've received this scholarship to teach in the USA for Non-native university students, and I've also enrolled in graduate courses as a requirement of the program. In addition, I worked in my home country as a Therapeutic and Social Instructor and as an English Teacher for teenagers/youth who are at risk and come from difficult backgrounds. Moreover, I used to work during summer school programs as an English teacher and a social mentor for students from various backgrounds. I see myself as a passionate person about teaching, social engagement, travel and international communication. I am driven by the urge to learn more about other people languages and cultures and to teach them in return about mine. I always choose to take on different experiences in life where I can enhance my skills and benefit others. I believe that everyone deserves a good support and education system and I see in those a tool to impact other people's lives for the better. With time, I have learnt more about myself and discovered what makes me feel alive and accomplished, mentoring and educating youth absolutely makes me feel accomplished.
