Hello my name is Adelaide and I am from South Africa. I am 27 years, a three-time graduate in Fashion from the Durban University of Technology, and I also hold a TEFL from Teacher Record. I enjoy spending my time reading books, drawing, learning new languages/ cultures and history. I have always been an aspiring english teacher since I was 19 and first taught at a primary school from 2020 to 2021. I taught young learners from preschool - grade 3. I enjoyed every moment being with the children and teaching. Being a part of the journey of the learners as they gained knowledge, skills, confidence and joy in their learning gave me happiness and inspired me to want to continue being a teacher. I also worked as a private childcare giver and tutor for three amazing little boys, whom i enjoyed taking care of and teaching as well how to read and write in english. As a fluent english speaker and someone who loves learning new languages, I understand the struggles when it comes to learning a new language and how intimidating it can be. Helping you achieve your goals through the best way that works for you is my teaching language. I like to get to know my students and their learning styles so we can be able to work together and the journey can be fun, inspiring and worthwhile for you.
