Hi! I'm Yvonne, a Chinese tutor from Mainland China. Ten years ago, I was just like you—someone who could only speak their native language. Simply imagining myself speaking fluent English felt like a dream. Back then, I never would have believed that ten years later, I’d be living in Hong Kong, with a decade of study and work experience in the Western world. That’s why teaching Chinese isn’t just a job for me—it’s my passion, and also a heartfelt way to give back to the English-speaking world that once empowered me to find my own voice in a second language. Learning a new language opened the door to a much bigger world for me, and now, I truly enjoy sharing the beauty of the Chinese language and culture with friends from around the globe.
