Yuka

Hello everyone. I’m Yuka, a native Japanese speaker. I currently live in Madrid and study Spanish at a language school. I have more than six years of experience teaching languages. In Japan, I worked as a teacher at an English language school, where I taught a wide range of students—from very young children around one year old to intermediate-level adults. What would you like to achieve with Japanese? Traveling? Watching anime without subtitles? Or maybe working in Japan? Whatever your goal is, I will fully support you in achieving it. In my lessons, the most important thing is not just memorizing what is written in textbooks, but learning “living Japanese”—the kind of Japanese that native speakers actually use in everyday life. Naturalness and manners I will also teach slang and colloquial expressions that don’t appear in dictionaries, as well as appropriate behavior in Japanese society and the cultural background behind the way Japanese people think. In addition, I’ll share current trends in Japan, great food recommendations, and hidden spots that most tourists usually miss.
