Hello, I’m Weixuan. I hold an MBA from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Economics and Strategy for Business from Imperial College London, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Washington. For the past three years, I have taught online part-time and supported more than 150 students with economics, finance, academic skills, and university preparation. My lessons are practical, structured, and adapted to each learner. We begin by clarifying your goals and identifying the concepts or skills that need the most attention. I then build a clear learning plan using concise explanations, real-world examples, guided practice, exam-style questions, and targeted feedback. For IB Economics, I focus on concept mastery, diagrams, evaluation, essay structure, internal assessment development, and exam technique. Students I have supported have improved from predicted grades of 4–5 to final grades of 6–7. I also teach university-level economics and finance foundations, helping students connect theory with business decisions and current market examples. My professional experience in strategy and technology enables me to explain how economic and financial ideas are applied in real organisations. I understand the common challenges Chinese students face when studying English-language courses, especially with academic argument, technical vocabulary, and examination technique. I can explain difficult ideas clearly in both English and Chinese.
