I have experience teaching children and adults in a variety of settings. As a preschool teacher at an Afrikaans school, I was responsible for introducing and teaching English to 3-5 year-olds. I also worked with adults (21-43) online, tutoring them in Afrikaans and English. Additionally I have experience teaching students between 9 and 14 Maths, Physics, Chemistry and English . I have also been fortunate enough to complete my 180-hour TEFL certificate, as well as additional courses such as, teaching business English, IELTS preparation and teaching other subjects in English. I feel that one of the most important things in tutoring is being able to understand what your student needs in order to succeed. This is why I tailor each lesson individually; taking into account your learning style and strengths/weaknesses, as well as any particular goals you may have for your lessons (such as improving your grades or getting ready for exams).
