How your class will be structured: 1. We will work together to choose a textbook based on your level and needs before the first class. 2. Review what you learned in the previous lesson. 3. Guide you to learn the new words, phrases and structures and correct your pronunciation. 4. Help you make different sentences and ask you questions so you practice how to use them in contexts. Then give you feedback. 5. Deeper practice: picture description/ topic discussion/ situation simulation 6. Review difficult points. 7. If you would like to have homework, I will assign homework and check it. 【Spoken/Conversational Chinese Class】（with textbook） This course is for adults. I have a well-organised system to help you practice speaking. Different topics are well-prepared based on your level, so you will learn specific words and expressions about a specific topic. When you learn it, you can use it right away! You will have a lot of time to speak in class, and we will have conversations and discussions based on your level. I will correct your pronunciation, grammar and polish your expressions. After the lesson, I will send you the words and expressions you are not familiar with, so it is efficient for you to review them whenever you would like to. 【Comprehensive Chinese Class】(with textbook, workbook and writing revision) This course is structured and well-organised to help you build up your mandarin system and improve your listening, reading, speaking and writing. Learning Chinese characters (hanzi) is optional. 【Fun Chinese Class for Kids and Teenagers(with textbook)】 For beginners: pinyin, daily expressions, strokes, characters, songs, games, animations For intermediate: picture book stories, complexed expressions, conversational fluency, characters, songs, games, animations For advanced: idiom stories, traditional culture, poems, composition, games, animations I studied a lot of things about children in school, like education, psychology, Second Language Acquisition, Teaching Methods for Young Learners, etc. I also have many years experience of teaching kids, I am very confident in it. We don't learn the Cantonese phonetic system, like English native speakers doesn't learn the international phonetic system. The foreign students I teach can learn Cantonese well without focusing on the phonetic system.
