About me

Native teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language with 8 years of experience

Hey! I'm Sara Benavides and I have a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures from the University of Oviedo, with maior in french and italian. During my studies I had two Erasmus experiences, one in Rennes (France), and the other one in Bergamo (Italy), a linguistic immersion course in Toronto (Canada) and a few other foreign language courses. Since I started my studies at University in 2014 I've taught private and group language lessons, both face-to-face and online, to children, teenagers and adults who had all kind of levels. I taught these 3 languages (French, English, Italian) as well as Spanish for foreigners. I also started teaching lessons at a language school in my town after I graduated. My teaching experience made me realise how I love education, so in 2020 I decided to go back to university to study what I'm currently doing: a Degree in Primary Education Teaching. During my lessons I try to practice grammar and vocabulary by using them through oral and written communication, but I'm also very flexible in terms of the needs, desires and rythms of every student. It would be such a pleasure to help you in your language learning process!
