Hi! I'm Samar, a German teacher with over 7 years of experience and 1,600+ lessons taught to students from around the world. English is my native language, and I learned German myself as a foreign language, up to Goethe-Zertifikat C1 level. That means I know exactly what it feels like to learn German from a learner's perspective, and I can explain grammar and pronunciation in a way that actually makes sense. I've been teaching German since 2019 and have worked with learners from all over the world at levels A1–B1, from absolute beginners to adults preparing for Goethe-Zertifikat exams. I've also taught in a range of professional and institutional contexts, including courses at the Goethe-Institute, as well as programs I developed for professionals in engineering, hospitality, and other fields. That's given me a lot of practice adapting my teaching to very different goals and contexts. My teaching methodology is grounded in the DLL program (Deutsch Lehren Lernen), a structured qualification in lesson design, learner assessment, and differentiated instruction. I also hold a TestDaF certificate (4×4) and a TOEFL iBT score of 110. My students describe my teaching as structured, patient, and confidence-building. German doesn't have to feel overwhelming.
