Hello, my name is Russel Ngoh Tita, and I’m a History and Geography teacher. I have over 9 years of experience teaching secondary school students across international curricula, including Cambridge and IB, working from middle school through to diploma level. I currently teach Individual & Societies (History and Geography) in the IB MYP and DP, and I also serve as a university guidance counselor. In this role, I support students with subject selection, university applications, and career planning, helping many successfully gain admission to international universities and scholarship programs. What makes my classes different is that I don’t just focus on memorizing facts. I like to make lessons interactive and meaningful through discussions, debates, projects, and real-world connections. My goal is to help you understand *why* things happen, not just *what* happened. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and share your ideas. I organize my classes to keep everyone involved. We use group work, inquiry-based activities, and practical tasks to make learning engaging and relevant. At the same time, I create a supportive environment where you can build confidence and learn at your own pace. I’m here to support you, challenge you, and help you grow into an independent and thoughtful learner. I’m really looking forward to working with you!
