Mathematics (Certified) & English Teacher for all ages with 3 years of experience in schools and many years as a tutor

Hello! I'm a 24 year old certified American teacher with 3 years of teaching experience and more as a private tutor. I have taught students from 1st grade through college. I have a Bachelor's in Actuarial Mathematics and a Master's in Teaching High School Mathematics, both from the best public university in the US, the University of Michigan. I am a very relaxed, but passionate teacher and I pride myself on 2 things: being patient with my students and explaining concepts and solutions to problems as best as I can. I believe that the best way to practice math is by practicing doing problems rather than listening to theory, although I can tailor my classes to suit your needs. My classroom students tell me that they appreciate the effort I put in to making math easier and more fun, and I hope that I can do the same for you.
