About me

My experience as an English teacher is extensive since I have been teaching private classes for 10 years and more than 5 years in academies and different companies. In recent years I have worked in England and the United States giving English classes to Spanish students who participated in immersion programs abroad. Currently I work in the British Council as a classroom assistant with children between 3 and 12 years old. I also teach English to adults in several companies called Hedima and Estudio Soto Mayor. I have worked as an English teacher for the past 4 years with elementary students. In the same way, I have also worked with adults. In addition to teaching classes, I also have experience as a storyteller and children's theater. Teaching English is a job that I love. My methodology is based on the combination of different educational theories which I have learned in my training and professional experience. Among them: communicative approach, structuralism, montessori etc. My classes follow a structured planning in which different competences are worked on globally. Everything is around a theme. Classes aimed at adults Methodology: - Playful and entertaining classes, a wide variety of activities to work on both written and spoken comprehension and expression. Use of different resources such as videos, articles, official exams, role plays, debates, etc. The classes are adapted to the needs of each student. * Intensive exam preparation course. The correction of exercises, writings or any other work is included in the rate. A follow-up and personalized tutoring is done.

Tuvimos problemas técnicos pero la clase estuvo bien. La profe es muy buena onda, la recomiendo

Una gran profesional, se nota q le gusta su trabajo. Un 10 como persona y como profesora. 100 % recomendable.

Nekane es ecantandora, estamos muy contentas con las clases. Se le nota el buen fondo que tiene y lo profesional que es en lo suyo. Se adaptó a nuestro objetivo sin poner pegas, a pesar de el gran esfuerzo que le supone prepararnos para un examen de la EOI en unas pocas clases. Por todo eso la recomiendo 100%. Ademas el sitio donde imparte las clases es muy ameno y accesible para llegar desde cualquier sitio.

Nekane es una profesora excelente. Me ha estado ayudando con la preparación de los casos prácticos para opositar a Secundaria. Controla mucho del tema y es una gozada escucharla. Las correcciones las corrige de forma muy amena, y siempre aporta consejos constructivos. Eskerrik asko!

Nekane esta siendo una gran profesora de inglés para nuestra hija de 11 años. Hace las clases muy amenas (nuestra hija está encantada con ella), trae material extra preparado especialmente para nuestra hija y lo más importante, vemos que avanza en sus conocimientos de inglés.
