Hello! I’m Michael, a professional opera singer and guitar player with over 15 years of experience in music. 🎶 I started by studying classical guitar for two years in my hometown, and over time I continued developing my skills through private study, live performance, and work with different musicians. My guitar background includes classical technique, as well as blues, jazz, flamenco, funk, modern pop, and accompaniment. I also have a strong understanding of music theory, harmony, rhythm, and the practical elements that make guitar playing sound musical and expressive. 🎸 My teaching is not based on vague tricks or random exercises. Other teachers may also teach some of these elements, but what I offer is a clear combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skill: the things that truly make a guitarist sound professional. I focus on helping students understand what they are playing, why it works, and how to use that knowledge in real musical situations, including live playing and on-the-spot improvisation in different genres. ✨ For new guitar players, this structured approach can lead to very strong progress within three months, including a solid foundation in technique, rhythm, harmony, theory, accompaniment, and practical playing skills. My goal is to help students progress in the shortest realistic time, without skipping the important foundations that make the difference between simply copying songs and actually becoming a musician. 🚀 As a singer, I trained with professional opera singers, including the leading baritone of the Varna State Opera, one of the most important opera institutions in Bulgaria. My vocal training is based on the Italian bel canto tradition, through the Bulgarian school connected to Bramborov, with a focus on healthy technique, breath control, resonance, vocal freedom, and musical expression. 🎭 I have performed in operas, musicals, concerts, restaurants, and different live venues, including stage work with the Varna Musical Theatre. Because of this, I can also help students with performance confidence, stage presence, interpretation, and how to feel more natural in front of an audience. 🎤 I teach both singing and guitar, either separately or together. My lessons combine theory and practice in a clear, grounded, and structured way. I believe it is important not only to learn songs, but also to understand why things work: how the voice works, how harmony works, how rhythm works, and how to build real technique step by step. 🌱 I also have a degree in psychology, with a focus that included teaching and education. This helps me adapt my explanations to different students, different learning styles, and different levels of confidence. My goal is to make complex musical ideas easy to understand, whether you are a beginner or already have experience. 🧠 In singing lessons, I focus on real vocal technique, based on classical bel canto principles that can also be applied to pop, rock, musical theatre, and other modern styles. In guitar lessons, I focus on technique, rhythm, theory, harmony, songs, accompaniment, improvisation, and musical expression. 🎼 My classes are friendly, practical, and adapted to each student’s goals.
