In the first place, let me tell you a bit about myself. I am Argentinian, I did my studies in the U.S. and after graduating with an M.A in Philosophy I returned to my country to develop myself professionally. As a graduate student, I gained experience offering private tutoring for several Philosophy classes (mainly Logic) and during my years as a graduate assistant. I am offering tutoring or support lessons to anyone who is taking classes either in Philosophy or in fields that are close to Philosophy, whether at high school or college/university level. Likewise, I am more than willing to assist anyone who is interested in the field and who is currently undergoing their studies or readings independently, and feel they need guidance, support, etc. As a teacher, my focus is primarily put on addressing each student’s needs and objectives. If it happens that any of these two can be related to their interests or passions, then I am convinced that the experience will be much more enjoyable, and it will be reflected on the results. More specifically, my expertise lies in providing students with tools and methods to guide them through their reading and writing. This includes interpreting difficult texts or passages, identifying an author’s main arguments, or simply getting the “main idea” or the “big picture”. In what concerns the process of writing, I can help you to make sure your thesis is there, to improve the organization and fluidity of your paragraphs or to simply check for grammatical mistakes.
