About me

Hello everybody, how are you? My name is Martha and I would like to be your online English teacher. I currently live in Germany with my English husband and children and have previously lived in the USA and UK. I graduated from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan and have a Master degree in Business Administration from Liverpool University, England. I have been living outside of Taiwan for 17 years now. I have 5 years online teaching experience teaching children and adults and 5 years in the classroom teaching college students. I worked as a professional English Chinese interpreter for an US based company for 6 years. I teach in English but I am able to explain the difficult parts in Chinese if necessary. I have 3 children, who are fluent in English and I especially like to interact with children. My teaching style is to show that learning can be fun and I use games and online interactive activities to promote the English language. So students get used to thinking in English as well as speaking in English. After class, I can assign homework to allow the children to continue learning outside the class at their own pace. I have previously worked for Taiwanese companies so I can help adult students with business and everyday English. So Let’s meet online and study in the comfort of your own home!
