Hello! I'm Mariam, a passionate Biology teacher and current Neuroscience PhD student. I have always been fascinated by how life works at a cellular and molecular level, and I absolutely love sharing that curiosity with my students. I have 13 years of teaching experience, having started my teaching journey when I was just 19. Over the years, I have specialized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) Biology teacher. I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Georgia, and my active daily research involves deep experimental neurotoxicology and brain health. What makes my classes unique is that I bring real-world, cutting-edge science directly into our lessons. Because I work actively as a researcher at an experimental centre, I do not just teach from a textbook; I can show you exactly how these biological concepts are applied in modern laboratories today.
