I am a fourth year Genetics student. Throughout the 4 years of my degree, I have extensively studied all branches of biology (molecular, cellular and tissue biology, microbiology, biochemistry, botany, physiology, biostatistics...), focusing especially on genetics. I have always had good study techniques, which have led me to get very good grades throughout my academic career. In addition, I have experience working with the public. I am a very nice and cheerful girl. My level of English is very high, so it could also help if the subject is taught bilingually. Biology is a subject that I am really passionate about and I would love to be able to pass it on to my students. The big problem when taking this subject is thinking that you should study by heart. The reality is that biology must be understood, and only some names must be memorized in a timely manner. As for my teaching method, I think that the most important thing is to spend a lot of time understanding the basics in order to consolidate the rest of the knowledge. I like to ask the student questions to know if he is following the class correctly and to make sure that I do not go on to the next topic without having understood the previous one. I also think it is very important to give examples when explaining, so that the student can visualize it better and it is easier for them to remember. Finally, I also like to share the mnemonic rules that I have used myself, and all the tips on the study techniques that I follow when studying for an exam. Don't hesitate to ask me anything!
