Hello, I am Spanish and I live in Seville, a beautiful city that needs no introduction.
For me, the student is the protagonist of his own learning, actively participating in it. That is why I have my students discover the language and the prompts that relate new knowledge to previous knowledge.
I use varied resources and I also like to offer the student complementary training means, such as movies or books. I dedicate myself to not only learn Spanish, if I don't know the culture of my country....
I dedicate myself to not only learn Spanish, if I don't know the culture of my country.
My didactic approach is a communicative approach and pretending that my students can maintain real communication, both oral and written, from the beginning of learning with other Spanish speakers.
In any case, personalize the methodology to the age, mother tongue and previous studies of the student, taking as reference points the level and the objective that the student will achieve.
I am passionate about teaching Spanish. It all started when I took an intensive course for Spanish teachers for foreigners in a center accredited by the Instituto Cervantes and began to contact students of all nationalities and ages.
I realized that it was an enriching job and I wanted to specialize more, that's why I studied a University Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.
Teaching children requires specific pedagogical knowledge, so I took a Specialization Course in teaching Spanish to children.
I am also an accredited examiner at levels B1-B2 C1-C2, so I have efficiently prepared many of my students for the exams.
In addition, I have a degree in Art History and a Master in Contemporary History of Spain, so I can give you a lot of information about Spanish culture.
As for other languages, I speak Italian and English.
I consider myself a nice, empathetic person who takes his job seriously ... Well, you will tell me.
I have been working as a Spanish teacher for foreigners since 2017, combining my work with my own training.
I have worked in academies with face-to-face students in Spain and Italy, also in online academies in various countries, but most of my work has been as a freelance.
I have experience in both face-to-face and online classes and I have had quite a few children as students.
Prior to this I worked in the tourist services sector and in the thematic exhibitions.
