About me

Howdy y'all, my name is Maria and I am a driven English teacher. I, myself, learned English through watching and reading, but I realize learning a new language doesn't come as easy for everyone. Through helping international friends that struggle with English I realized that I find joy in helping people to get to their best level of English (, starting from any level). One year ago I moved to the South of France to learn French and pursue my relationship with God; there I found myself surrounded with people of all nationalities. I saw the beauty in the different languages and the beauty in communication, even when people didn't speak the same language. But, even though non-verbal communication is possible, it is not ideal to really get to know other people, from other cultural backgrounds, on a deep level, to move abroad, to work abroad, etc. Although I am talented in learning languages, French came less easy to me than English; having learned French I understand the process and phases you go through while learning a new language and/or immersing in a new culture. With my passion and knowledge I think I can really help you!
