I am Mar Florenza, I am 20 years old and I recently finished my 2nd year of Humanistic Baccalaureate at the Proa Institute. I got honors with an average of 9.8 in both 1st and 2nd Bachiller. Now I attend the University of Barcelona studying Literary Studies, in which I have an average of 9. I am Catalan and native Spanish speaker. Also, I have the Advanced (C1) in English and I have taken French classes (B1 level). I have been studying music for more than 17 years. At the Jam Session school I studied 12 years of music theory (finished middle grade), 12 years of piano (currently studying level 6), 2 years of voice (I reached level 2) and 4 years of guitar (taking level 3). I have been playing in bands, combos and orchestras for 6 years. I am currently in "Zircus", a progressive rock group where I play the piano and sing/do backing vocals. In this one we compose our own songs and do some versions. We have two albums made, and we are creating the third one. I have training in modern (rock/jazz/pop etc) and classical. In addition, I studied writing at the Ateneu Barcelonès (summer 2019). I have given reinforcement and piano lessons to more than 40 students of all ages (from 4 to 70!), styles (jazz, rock, classical...) and levels for more than 2 years. I have worked as a babysitter for family and friends and as an event planner. I also volunteered as a companion for the elderly and collaborated with the NGO "The Direct Help Foundation" at my school, selling their products at Sant Jordi.
