About me

Hello! I’m Mar, a Catalan, Spanish and English teacher with more than five years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels. I hold a degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education, and I’ve worked for three years as a teacher in public education, as well as over two years giving private lessons to students of different backgrounds and learning goals. Teaching has always been my passion, and I truly enjoy helping my students discover that learning a language can be dynamic, engaging, and enjoyable. Every learner is unique, which is why I adapt each class to your personal needs and objectives. My lessons are built around communication, motivation and confidence. From the very first session, I encourage conversation using topics that are relevant to you, along with videos, songs, games and readings to make learning fun and effective. My goal is for you to feel comfortable speaking and to see your progress class after class. I teach children, teenagers and adults, adjusting my approach and materials to each learner’s age, level and goals. Whether you want to improve your English for travel, strengthen your Catalan for school, or feel more confident speaking Spanish, we’ll design a personalised plan that suits you.
