About me

Hello everyone, my name is Manuela and I am a professional language teacher. I was born and raised in Milan and I am fluent in English and French as I am a professional translator and interpreter. I am a professor of conference interpreting at the University of Milan and for over 20 years I have been teaching English, Italian, and French to adults (18-80), both privately and in companies. In my career I have taught over one hundred language courses, ranging from conversational to business. I have developed an extremely effective teaching method, with particular emphasis on speaking and on the correct use of grammar and syntax. I also provide several listening comprehension exercises. My lessons are focused on the student's needs and I think it is very important to correct mistakes, improve pronunciation and fluency and expand vocabulary... always with a smile. I'm an actor in an amateur group, have followed courses in Italian diction and do readings at various cultural events. I love my job because it allows me to meet new people and help them learn another language.
