I am an experienced Mathematics teacher and Mechanical Engineering graduate with 8 years of teaching experience and 2 years of online tutoring experience.
My teaching approach is based on understanding rather than memorization. I explain each concept step by step, use simple examples, and then gradually move to more challenging questions. I always encourage students to ask questions and explain their own thinking, because this helps me identify gaps in their understanding and build their confidence.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous work and a short assessment of the student's current understanding. I then introduce and explain the new concept, work through examples together, and give the student guided practice before moving to independent questions. At the end, I review the key points, identify any areas that need more practice, and provide targeted homework when appropriate.
What sets me apart is my combination of strong mathematical knowledge, engineering background, and extensive teaching experience. As a Mechanical Engineering graduate, I can connect mathematical concepts to real-life and engineering applications when useful, making Mathematics more meaningful and easier to understand.
My lessons are suitable for students studying IGCSE, GCSE, British Curriculum, American Curriculum, and other international Mathematics programs, from middle school through secondary level. I also support students with exam preparation, homework, revision, problem-solving, and strengthening weak areas.
My goal is not simply to help students get the answer. I want them to understand why the answer is correct, develop strong problem-solving skills, and become confident enough to solve similar problems independently.
