Soy pianista, docente y compositor de la cuidad de Medellin-Colombia, formado profesionalmente en la Universidad de Antioquia como licenciado en música con énfasis en piano clásico. Sin embargo mi exploración musical, pianística y compositiva ha estado fuertemente marcada por el jazz, las musicas latinas y la música tradicional colombiana, me apasiona tocar salsa, bossa nova y ritmos latinoamericanos, me encanta tocar en grupos y orquestas, grabar y escribir partituras de todos los estilos, disfruto de tocar canciones de oído y poder descifrar armonías y melodías . Deseo compartir todas estas formas tan versátiles de tocar el Piano y abordarlo desde otras miradas en las cuales puedas disfrutar de tocar tu música favorita, comprender sus estructuras y dominar el instrumento como tu amigo y compañero de camino.

I am a pianist, teacher and composer from the city of Medellin-Colombia, professionally trained at the University of Antioquia as a music graduate with an emphasis in classical piano.
However, my musical, pianistic, and compositional exploration has been strongly influenced by jazz, Latin music, and traditional Colombian music. I am passionate about playing salsa, bossa nova, and Latin American rhythms. I love playing in groups and orchestras, recording and writing scores of all styles, and I enjoy playing songs by ear and being able to decipher harmonies and melodies.
I want to share all these versatile ways of playing the piano and approach it from different perspectives so you can enjoy playing your favorite music, understand its structures, and master the instrument as your friend and companion on your journey.
