Luis

Hello! I'm Luis, a violinist and violist. I studied violin in Barcelona at the Escuela Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), and later went on to study two official master's degrees in London, at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Later, I also completed a viola master's degree at the Conservatorio Superior del Liceu. I've been teaching students of all ages for over 15 years, and also teaching at the Conservatorio Profesional del Liceu and the Conservatorio Superior de Aragón. I'm looking forward to getting started and adapting the classes to suit your interests: classical, modern, jazz, etc. I try to be very flexible with my students, and I also like to plan a roadmap with each student. It's very important to keep them motivated, always using the right tone and pleasing to them, but also encouraging and motivating them to follow the right path. It's very important to the students to see the teacher as a role model in the classroom, so I always bring my violin and play the examples for them, and we often play duet pieces.
