About me

Hi! I am Leonardo, I have a PhD and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. I currently work as a researcher at an intergovernmental organization, focusing primarily on the development of artificial intelligence methods and algorithms in biology. For 10+ years, I have taught programming in C, Python, C++, Rust, and more (artificial intelligence, software engineering, systems programming, etc.), both privately and in undergraduate and graduate programs at Politecnico di Torino. I am a native Italian speaker, but I speak English at an advanced level (C1/C2).

Leonardo è una persona molto generosa, che sa fornire chiarimenti più che completi sull'argomento di studio e, in particolare, sa adattare l'approccio alla lezione in base al suo interlocutore, costruendo un filo del discorso che sappia coniugare le nozioni essenziali: ciò rende la lezione più snella, priva di superfluo, ma al contempo esaustiva e con una st ... ruttura in grado di spiegare tutti gli argomenti da studiare. Così facendo, si denota non solo il suo grado di competenza, ma anche una certa elasticità ed una certa intelligenza pratica: sa dare una base globale di nozioni completa, sapendo discriminare gli argomenti non così essenziali e non così utili alla comprensione della materia (e quindi al conseguimento positivo dell'esame) da quelli fondamentali (che divengono così centrali), ma sa anche approfondire analiticamente la lezione. È persona che viene così molto incontro e sa spiegare sia in base alle richieste dell'esame sia in base ad una conoscenza ancor più ampia.
