My teaching methodology is based on a communicative and student-centred approach that prioritises meaningful language use, active participation, and the development of practical communication skills. The main principles guiding my teaching are the following: 1. Communicative Approach (Communicative Language Teaching) My lessons focus on the real use of language for communication. Students learn English primarily by using the language in meaningful situations rather than by only studying grammatical rules. 2. Student-Centred Learning The classroom is designed to maximise student participation. The teacher acts as a facilitator while students take an active role in the learning process, spending most of the class time speaking, interacting, and practicing the language. 3. Clear Language Presentation (PPP Framework) Lessons are structured following the Presentation–Practice–Production model. New language is first introduced in a clear and contextualized way, then practiced through guided activities, and finally used by students in freer communicative tasks. 4. Contextualized Language Learning Grammar and vocabulary are not taught in isolation. New language is always presented within meaningful contexts that reflect real-life communication. 5. Guided Discovery Whenever possible, students are encouraged to analyse examples and discover language patterns themselves. The teacher supports this process by guiding students with questions and structured tasks. 6. Integrated Skills Development Lessons integrate the four core language skills—reading, listening, speaking, and writing—allowing students to develop balanced communicative competence.
