Hi everyone! I’m JUNJI, your Japanese language teacher. I specialized in Japanese Language Education at university in Japan, where I deeply studied linguistics, phonetics, cognitive psychology, and intercultural communication. Currently, I am based in Barcelona, Spain, working as a Japanese teacher at a local academy. What brings you to the world of Japanese? Whether it’s for an upcoming trip to Japan, watching manga and anime in its original language, passing the JLPT, or a deep interest in Japanese culture, everyone has their own unique goals. As you may know, Japanese is quite different from European languages, and it’s often said to be a challenge. But don’t worry! With an approach based on the professional knowledge I’ve acquired, you can progress efficiently and enjoyably without taking unnecessary detours. What I prioritize in my classes: Turning "Knowledge" into "Real Skills" I don’t believe in classes that only explain grammar rules. My motto is to help you actually "use" Japanese in real life. That’s why, even for absolute beginners, I focus on active practice to get you speaking according to your level. Supporting Dreams from Beginner to Advanced I’ve taught a wide range of students, from 10-year-olds to JLPT candidates, business professionals, and culture enthusiasts. Through my classes, many students have successfully achieved their personal goals. Logical yet Friendly I apply my professional background to support your learning in a way that makes it easier for your brain to retain information. However, the atmosphere is very casual! Please don't worry about making mistakes—in fact, I encourage you to make them in my class! (jaja/haha) ⚠️ One thing to keep in mind: My classes are not a "sit and listen" lecture style. I value active practice where you "try speaking first." Therefore, my classes are especially recommended for those who want to practice a lot of output and see rapid progress.
