Hello! I’m Joyce, an experienced Mathematics teacher and educator with over 14 years of experience working with children and young learners. I believe every child can learn Mathematics when concepts are explained clearly, patiently and in a way that makes sense to them. My goal is not just to help learners get the right answers, but to help them understand the “why” behind what they are doing, build confidence and become independent problem-solvers. In my classes, I take time to understand each learner’s level, strengths and areas that need support. I use simple explanations, examples, questions and practical activities to make lessons engaging and interactive. I also adjust my teaching pace and approach because every learner is different. I have taught learners across the early years, primary and junior secondary levels, and I enjoy creating a relaxed learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and trying again. Whether your child needs help understanding a difficult topic, strengthening their Mathematics foundation, preparing for school assessments or simply becoming more confident in Maths, I would be happy to support them.
