About me

Tutor with 5+ years experience and Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Studies

Hello, my name is Jonathan. I’ve been tutoring math for 4 years officially. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages & Linguistics / Classical Studies from the University of California, Riverside. Before then I was tutoring here and there while in school, teaching math, Greek, and Latin to fellow peers and younger students as well. Once graduating, while in my job search. I stumbled across a position at Mathnasium and having always had a passion for teaching and helping students, I applied. I have since become the Center Director, working hard to ensure every student we come across gets the help they need and deserve and working closely with their parents to discuss and monitor progress. With this passion to teach I’ve decided to focus on the supplemental help for students that schools are just it able to provide. I’m excited to help as many students as I can learn Ancient Greek and utilize many of the roots from it in everyday language!
