Jiayi

Hello, my name is Jiayi, and I come from Harbin, China, a beautiful city of ice and snow. The 2025 Asian Winter Olympics will be held in my hometown. I’m a native Chinese speaker. I hope that through my efforts, more people can enjoy Chinese language and culture. I have a teaching certificate（CTCSOL） and a certificate of Putonghua proficiency test (CPPT), it means my pronunciation is standard mandarin. I once taught English in a public vocational school, I get along well with my students. I am very enthusiastic and patient. My teaching experience have made me good at applying different teaching methods to different students and know how to help you learn and use Chinese. I will make a suitable study plan and help you choose textbooks based on your current level and learning purpose. In the immersion class, you will not only learn pinyin, Chinese characters, vocabulary, grammar, and sentence patterns, but also you will learn very practical daily expressions that enable you to express your ideas accurately in daily communication, and we can also discuss some mythic stories like monkey king or what our customs are in the 24 solar terms. During the class, if you feel confused, you can interrupt me at any time, and all your questions will be answered patiently. After class, you will receive notes and you don't need to worry about the class content. You will feel very relaxed and happy when you study with me.
