About me

Hi there! My name is Hürrem. I am a language educator for over 5 years of experience across Canada and Turkey teaching French and Turkish. I have a degree in French Literature in Sorbonne Nouvelle University and a Theatre and Performing Arts education. I believe learning a language is similar to creating a new life. In order to be fluent in any language we must not only understand grammar and syntax mechanisms but also appropriate and incorporate the words and sentences into our lives. Therefore, I believe in creating a safe space for expression for each individual in all my classes. If you have always wanted to enjoy Baudelaire's French poetry or Orhan Pamuk's writings in their original languages, you are at the right place! As we say in Turkish a new language is a new person.
