Hi there, welcome to my profile ! My name is Hélène, I was born in Paris and I would be glad to help you discover my native language or improve your skills in French. With a state-certified Master degree with mention "very good" in the teaching of the French language for foreigners (FLE) from the Artois University, I am passionate about linguistics and languages ​​and I love teaching, both to children and adults. I have been giving French lessons to students of all ages, levels and with all kinds of goals since 2018. Currently I work for my own online and I jointly give lessons in a language center as a TEF naturalization / TEF Canada - DELF tutor (but I am also familiar with other exams : TCF, DALF, TFI) and I also give refresher lessons for French natives. Daughter and granddaughter of teachers, maybe it was meant that I ended up teaching too. My level of French is irreproachable and I think I have the didactics, the pedagogy and the patience sufficient to exercise this profession. My level of English is not excellent (B1-B2), especially speaking, but I manage all the same well and, since this language presents a fairly obvious analogy with French, I can easily explain some grammatical rules for help you express yourself better. Don't ask me what is my learning method because it's personalized according to each student. Indeed, I don't work at all in the same way with someone who wants to take a specific exam, or someone who wants to learn to fit in a French-speaking country, or with a child who would need support for his school lessons. There are almost as many different profiles as there are students! However, I can say that I generally use the different digital methods from Clé International, Hachette FLE or even Didier FLE (which I really like for their didactic content and their playful side), enriched with additional supports that differ according to needs and desires. Vocabulary, spelling, conjugation, grammar, oral / written comprehension, oral / written expression, pronunciation ... everything can be worked effectively in my lessons in order to reach your goals on time! I warn you, I'm the type of person who spends my time correcting others, so expect every mistake you make to be examined with a fine toothed comb! But don't worry, I'll let you express yourself at liberty ;) It is important not to choose just any teacher, especially if you want to take an official exam. With me, you have the assurance of learning a correct, quality French, whether in a current, formal or informal language register.
