A friendly and warm tutor with Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Linguistics

Hello! I am Helen Cheng. I am from Hong Kong and I can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin fluently. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Roehampton in London, UK. My Chinese class will have a framework with 6 steps: Step 1: Get a basic understanding of Chinese tones Step 2: Learn about how the Chinese alphabets work and sound (i.e. pīn yīn) Step 3: Learn how to count in Chinese Step 4: Learn Chinese vocabulary Step 5: Memorize conversational phrases Step 6: Practice reading and writing Chinese characters For my English class, I can help you with the following areas of English: 1. Pronunciation: how are English words pronounced? 2. Comprehension: what does a text mean? 3. Vocabulary: how to spell words? what do some words mean? 4. Conversation: how to communicate using English? 5. Writing: what grammar rules do we need to adhere? how to write creatively? The content of my lesson is flexible and you can feel free to pick and choose which aspect you would want to focus on, and I would help you advance your skills. I am very flexible, easy-going and patient. I will make the classes fun and easy. Feel free to contact me, I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!
