About me

I like to immerse my students in the universe of the language, going beyond traditional grammar instruction. I understand language as something fluid, influenced by different variants such as location, culture, climate, and context. That’s why, in addition to teaching the so-called "standard grammar," I also bring the real-life experiences of native speakers into the classroom. I believe that language learning must also include informality and authenticity, so I teach my students both the "raw" form of the language and the way it naturally flows in everyday communication. To achieve this, I always integrate cultural aspects into my lessons , such as videos, poems, songs, and literature, while adapting the content to the student’s personal interests, whether that be food, travel, music, or other areas of curiosity. After all, language is alive, and communication goes far beyond prescriptive grammar rules. In my teaching, I value grammar but balance it by introducing the most common structures of spoken language, offering plenty of dynamic exercises and interactive practice to reinforce what has been learned. My goal is to make every class not only educational, but also engaging, practical, and tailored to the student’s needs. I strive to create an environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and curious, ensuring that their learning experience is both effective and enjoyable.
