🚀 Robotics & Coding ex-Google (Open Robotics) Python C++ ROS
Hello! I’m Gaurav Kumar, a Robotics Engineer and Educator with experience working on advanced robotics projects with Google (Open Robotics), IIIT Hyderabad’s Robotics Research Center, and Rikse Marine. Over the past few years, I’ve worked on everything from autonomous wheelchair navigation systems to underwater robot simulations and physics-based sonar sensors — all powered by Python, C++, and ROS.
My classes are designed to make robotics and coding real, practical, and exciting. I don’t just teach syntax or theory — I help you connect code to real-world robots. Every concept, from variables to path planning, is taught using examples inspired by actual research and industry use-cases. You’ll see how a few lines of Python can move a robot arm, or how C++ powers a self-driving vehicle’s decision-making system.
I organize my sessions to build strong foundations first and then move toward advanced, project-based learning. A typical course might start with Python or C++ fundamentals, progress through sensor integration, and finally cover ROS (Robot Operating System) to bring everything together in simulation or hardware. Depending on your goals, I can tailor sessions for beginners, university students, or professionals preparing for robotics internships or research.
To make classes interactive, I use RViz, Gazebo, and Python notebooks, along with visual tools like OpenCV for perception-based modules. I also provide small coding challenges and hands-on mini-projects after each session to reinforce learning. My goal is to ensure that by the end of the course, you not only understand robotics programming but can also build and debug your own robotic systems confidently.
What makes my approach different is my blend of research experience, teaching passion, and real deployment knowledge. Having mentored students during national competitions and conducted technical workshops, I understand how to explain complex topics simply, without losing technical depth.
If you’re curious about robotics, AI, or coding, my classes will give you a structured yet creative space to learn, experiment, and grow — with guidance from someone who’s been where you’re headed. 🚀
