Hi there!! My name is Fernando Salto Ruiz. I’m 22 years old and I’m currently in my final year of the Music Composition program at the Málaga Conservatory of Music. I just finished my Erasmus mobility to the Conservatory Giussepe Verdi of Milan, that's why I can speak Italian. I’ve been studying music since I was 8 years old. I started out as a violist and even completed the first year of Viola at the Conservatory. Right now, I am focusing more on fields like composition and orchestration. I’ve composed music for two short films; one of them is currently making the festival circuit in several countries. I’ve also written orchestral arrangements for the La Malagueña Sinfónica Orchestra and am currently collaborating with the Alborán Symphony Orchestra here in my city. I have played in numerous orchestras in my city and have participated in various festivals throughout my country (Morocco and France, among others). I have extensive experience as a private teacher, for beginners and students preparing for entrance exams to music conservatories. My specialties are musical analysis, harmony, and counterpoint. I also teach music theory, composition, orchestration, viola, and music for beginners. My classes are entirely online, and my schedule is flexible. I consider myself a reasonable person; I don’t mind adjusting my schedule a bit to adapt to the student’s needs. Teaching is a way for me not only to learn but also to reinforce my own knowledge and connect with people. I look forward to meeting you all!!!
