Hello, I'm Elise! I have a degree in History, Education, and Business Administration from Hillsdale College. I am currently enrolled in a Master's program at the University of New Mexico and will then be pursuing my Ph.D. I have 5 years of teaching experience and 8 years of tutoring. I have taught elementary, middle, and high school grades and specialize in History, English Language Arts, Politics, and Government. I have extensive experience with special education and work well with helping students with accommodations. I believe that teaching is a holistic field and that students who feel respected and understood have the best learning outcomes. Every student has different needs and requires a different approach to their instruction. I'm here to help, whether that be understanding Shakespeare, World War II, or political and government structuring!
