Eleni

Hello! I'm a Eleni Kamaratou, a pianist and Taubman Approach Instructor from Crete, Greece. I have degrees in Piano Performance and Musicology from universities in the US, and am currently pursuing my PhD in Performance Studies. Having struggled with playing-related injuries as a young student, I always wanted to find healthy and sustainable ways to play the piano. After my undergraduate piano studies, I became a certified Taubman Instructor, and now I enjoy sharing all the things I have learned with my students. The Taubman Approach is proven to be effective in helping pianists overcome technical limitations on the piano and cure their playing-related injuries as a result. The goal of most of my current students is to play with more ease and keep improving their technique, without any pain or discomfort. I like to organise each lesson according to the learning objectives of each student and I will be happy to be your guide to help you achieve everything you set out to do in terms of your playing!
