Speak English Naturally, Confidently, and Without Fear! Hi! I'm Diana, a professional journalist and English teacher, and I help people become confident, natural English speakers in both everyday life and professional settings. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with hundreds of students from different countries, cultures, and professional backgrounds. I've also lived in more than one English-speaking country, and I currently live in the United States, where English is an essential part of everyday life and professional success. I understand how frustrating it can be to know English but still struggle to express yourself. Maybe you understand grammar, but when it's time to speak, you hesitate. Perhaps you translate everything in your head, feel uncomfortable with your accent, or struggle to follow conversations with native speakers. You might even feel that your English is holding you back from career opportunities or meaningful connections. I understand these challenges because I've experienced some of them myself. As someone originally from Cuba, I had to work on my own pronunciation, accent, and communication skills to develop a more natural American English speaking style. That experience gave me a deeper understanding of what it really takes to move beyond textbook English and communicate confidently in real-life situations. And that's exactly what I want to help you achieve. What can we work on together? Conversational English: Speak more naturally, confidently, and spontaneously in everyday situations. Business and Professional English: Communicate effectively in meetings, interviews, presentations, and workplace conversations. American English Pronunciation & Accent Training: Improve your pronunciation, rhythm, intonation, and clarity so you can sound more natural and be better understood. Listening & Real-Life Communication: Understand native speakers more easily, including different speaking speeds and everyday expressions. Fluency & Confidence: Stop translating every sentence in your head and start expressing your thoughts directly in English. My Teaching Approach My background in journalism, radio, and television has taught me the importance of clear, effective communication. I know that speaking confidently isn't just about choosing the right words; it's also about how you deliver them. My lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to your goals. I use authentic materials such as videos, podcasts, real-life conversations, storytelling, pronunciation exercises, and guided reading to help you develop skills you can actually use outside the classroom. I believe that learning English should be about communicating, not memorizing endless grammar rules. Whether you're preparing for a job interview, working toward a promotion, adjusting to life in an English-speaking country, or simply wanting to feel more comfortable in conversations, we'll build a learning plan around your needs, your pace, and your goals. You'll receive personalized guidance, constructive feedback, and practical strategies to keep improving between lessons. Let's Make English Work for You! You don't need perfect English to start speaking confidently. You need the right guidance, consistent practice, and a supportive environment where you're comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. My goal is not to change who you are or erase your identity. It's to help you find your voice in English and communicate with confidence, clarity, and authenticity. If you're ready to take your English to the next level, I'd love to help you get there. Book a class, and let's start building your confidence together!
