HI! I'm Claudia, nice to meet you! 😊 I'm a singer and singing and vocal technique teacher with more than 10 years of experience and in love with my job! I was born in Rome, Italy, where I studied modern singing, contemporary music and psychology. I lived for almost 8 years in Bogotá, Colombia where I continued my training as a musician and teacher (EMMAT - Berklee Global Partner, MISI Musical Theater School). I attended a Master in Modern Singing Teaching, where I studied different methodologies such as Estill Voice Training, Speech Level Singing, CVT and others. I have currently been in Valencia, Spain, for 2 years and I work at the Yamaha Music School, I give private lessons and sing in 2 groups, Al Contado our own music (Pop - Rock - Blues - Grunge), and Soul Dealers, a Soul, Funk and R'nB cover band. I constantly update myself on new vocal techniques and methodologies to combine them and have more and more tools to help any type of voice! I love the human voice and it continues to awaken all my curiosity! I will do everything to be useful to you, to guide you towards any technical, stylistic or interpretative objective you have, both in the case of a first approach to the voice and in the case of wanting to achieve a more in-depth knowledge. The lessons are personalized because each Voice is UNIQUE! In this way I will be able to concentrate only on what your voice needs and develop your vocal personality, doing specific vocal technique exercises and working on your style and interpretation of the repertoire. The vocal cords are muscles so, as in any sport, training is important to develop good muscle memory. We want to sow a good technical basis and when it becomes automatic we don't have to worry about it going on stage and we can focus on the true meaning of art: COMMUNICATE and INTERCHANGE EMOTIONS! In each lesson we will do Relaxation and Stretching, Breathing Exercises, Warm-up Exercises and Vocal Technique (Air Management, Support, Chest and Head Register, Mixed Voice, Passaggio, Resonance/Projection, Power, Agility, Twang, Belting, etc. ..) and we will ALWAYS sing!
