I am an advanced student in Public English Translation. I prepare students to take the FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, IELTS, among other exams. I am now teaching via Skype due to the quarantine. I have always devoted myself to teaching the phonetics of English (American or British English) since the study of phonetics is fundamental for the student to get to have a correct pronunciation and intonation, resulting in good orality and fluency. Despite the fact that only students in language degree programmes get to study this subject, phonetics is essential for the student to be able to improve orally in an effective way, so I have always taught this subject even to beginners. I usually use four books to teach. One deals with phonetics, another one with grammar and vocabulary and the last two ones with theory and exercises, these are the classic books called Student's book and Workbook.
