Me llamo Carmen, tengo 24 años y soy psicóloga.
Tengo un máster en neuropsicología clínica y estoy cursando un curso experto en psicoterapia breve con niños y adolescentes, además de estar realizando el máster para la habilitación como psicóloga general sanitaria.
Llevo mas de 6 años dando clases a niños y adolescentes. Trabajo de dos maneras distintas, bien siguiendo el temario que dan en el colegio o por cuenta propia, preparando distintos temas que considere interesantes y dinámicos, y con los que se pueda sacar buen vocabulario, expresiones, comprensión escrita...etc.
Depende de lo que prefieran los padres sigo una vía u otra.
Además de dar clases de inglés, que es a lo que me dedico con la mayor parte de mis alumnos, algunos padres quieren que guíe el estudio de otras asignaturas, así que también hay posibilidad de dar lengua, social science o las asignaturas que se necesiten.
Es posible que algunos niños solo necesiten 'aprender a estudiar', los últimos cursos de primaria o 1° de la ESO a veces resultan difíciles pues no están acostumbrados a estudiar, si algún alumno necesita podría darle algunas técnicas de estudio, organización, gestión del tiempo y el estrés escolar. Ayudándole a habituarse a esa nueva forma de aprender, gestionando los nervios ante las nuevas formas de evaluar etc.
Por otro lado, llevo ya dos años dando clases de conversación a adultos. Trato de traer temas interesantes para comentar, debatir, aprender habilidades necesarias para interactuar en inglés.
