Hello! I am Brazilian from the state of São Paulo, but currently living in the state of Alagoas. I lived in the state of Paraná when I was a child and in the state of Minas Gerais, where I got my Bachelor's degree in Museology at Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto. I studied baroque music at the conservatory in the city of Tatuí in Brazil and in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands I also studied Dutch and German. I have been teaching English for 23 years, half of which was for private schools. Fifteen years ago, I decided to start my own language school (a One Person Company system implemented by the government in 2008.). It is called Lyceum Idiomas and has given me a very rewarding feeling of working for myself and helping students according to their needs. I have prepared students for the TOEFL and IELTS tests and translated academic articles in several areas. I also offer Dutch classes for Brazilians at Lyceum Idiomas (not via this site). I started offering Portuguese classes at the beginning of 2022. It has been a great experience and made me willing to broaden my network all over the world. That is the reason for joining Classgap and offer some of my time here. Brazil is an amazing country with its different cultural aspects which are present in the way that our language is spoken in each part of the country. It will be a great pleasure to have you in my classes and exchange all our experience.
