A philosophy teacher for secondary and high school students for 20 years, I offer classes in ethics and philosophy, as well as study support and techniques, for both secondary and high school students and adults. Unique and personalized methodology! Philosophical therapy is also available! My classes are designed for all types of students and are adapted from beginning to end to their needs and interests: from the most specific text analysis (as is common in high school) to philosophical dialogue (the traditional way philosophy has been taught) or the lecture format (more focused and refined) or the philosophical therapy session (increasingly necessary and urgent for self-knowledge). I am a well-read and cultured teacher with firsthand knowledge of philosophical authors and texts. I am also a lecturer, capable of covering the history of philosophy and organizing its main ideas, complemented by Latin and Classical Greek. Most of Plato's dialogues end with an open ending: the philosopher, Socrates, is the last to speak, never the first, and no clear conclusion is reached, except for the implicit agreement to seek what is most important of all things. In our modern world, this means that other people have the final say instead of us, which can be seen as a sign of laziness and cowardice. Laziness and cowardice are, in any case, signs of abandonment and confirmation of the pursuit of immediate pleasure. Therefore, philosophy is not only a conceptual tool for interpreting the present, but also the quest for self-knowledge, which is implicit in daring to think and not just living like the majority or the rest.
