I am here to help you achieve your fluency goals in English. Highly experienced in self-directed learning (I learned both English and German all on my own and got C2-certified in both), and with an inborn passion for creative language and communication, I can guide you in an efficient, effective learning path based on your individual needs.

Over the course of 6 years experience teaching English and German at several schools, companies and universities, I have developed a solid methodology based on immersive, guided discovery and intuitive, real exposure to the language.
What do your lessons look like? It is a personalized course where you:
-will use English until you become a fluent, confident speaker,
-will learn the skills along the way to direct your own learning,
-will be yourself in English, as if using your mother tongue, the ultimate goal.
Sounds ambitious? Doing it in a targeted, effective way, makes this possible, and the time frame where you can see results depends on your motivation. Take charge of your future and make yourself one of the best, long-life gifts ever.
Each lesson will present real life input from various English-speaking media sources. I will adapt and guide you through conversations adapted to your level (basic, intermediate, advanced). We can also use topics you feel naturally interested in, to speed up the learning.
I am a very good listener, a patient tutor and of a naturally calm, warm personality. I know how important it is to keep the right atmosphere for learning, this is why I strive to maintain an enthusiastic, friendly environment. to break the ice and make the most out of our session time.
I take my students' learning very seriously, because I am a real language nerd :P During your performance, I will make feedback notes with suggestions and recommended practice. If you prefer so, I can correct you on the spot by providing the right word or expression used within the context covered.
I believe in visual learning. In our sessions you will be exposed to many visual cues, authentic input in English in form of quotes, infographics, statistics, headlines, etc. The more exposure to real English you have, the faster your learning will take place. I'll give you the "real deal": authentic English as it is used today (social media, web articles, podcasts, quizzes, interviews, talk shows, the news, etc.) I'll also give you tips on how to review the contents seen in your self-study time too, in order to speed up your learning.
This is what your course will look like:
-If you already know some English, you will have the chance to use it in dynamic, guided conversations with lots of visuals and relevant input. I will help you build your vocabulary in a smooth, targeted way, by adding comments, asking questions, clarifying and building a solid foundation so you can soon move on to a more fluent speaking stage.
-If you are advanced, you can demonstrate your language skills by participating in a variety of interesting conversations and questions, by sharing your experiences, your knowledge about your own fields, by weighing alternatives, analyzing arguments, providing your opinion, etc. The range of topics covered can be as extensive as you need to build a well-rounded repertoire. We can make use of more flowery, formal language depending on your needs so you feel confident within professional contexts.
-If you are a total beginner, congratulations, you have started the most useful language journey, and I will help you learn the most used words/expressions first, and progressively advancing to cover all the basics according to CEFR. You will pass a full course on English pronunciation, and will master all the English fundamentals before moving on to conversational lessons.
-If you want to tackle one specific field of study or have a more specific speaking goal, please let me know what it's all about and I can match you with the best resources covering those topics, and create a course around them.
At the end of each lesson, you will receive a session report which includes:
-Structure/grammar/speech corrections
-Suggested exercises to practice those topics
-Recommended listening/reading practice related to the lesson topic
-Main takeaways from today's lesson for future reference.
You can take a personalized progress test either every month or every two months, in case you'd like to be assessed in that way, although continual assessment and reinforcement takes place by means of the session report review.
