About me

I have been singing since early childhood and have been receiving formal vocal training since the age of 14. My musical education includes studies at several renowned institutions, among them the Second Degree ART Multimedia School of Popular Music (graduated in June 2023 with a diploma as a professional singer), the Krzysztof Komeda Second Degree School of Popular Music and Jazz in Warsaw, the Warsaw Music Society, Konador Vocal Studio, as well as private studies with professors of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. In parallel, I completed postgraduate-level studies in church music at the Organist Training Institute in Warsaw, graduating with very good results under the supervision of Professor T. Kalisz. For over 20 years I have been actively performing on stage, with rock music being my natural artistic home. At the same time, for more than a decade I have worked as a church musician in Catholic parishes in Poland and Germany, conducting numerous scholas and choirs. My professional experience also includes music therapy work in a centre for troubled youth in Bavaria, where I supported young people dealing with emotional, social and psychological challenges. For several years I have been working as a vocal and piano teacher in various music schools in Germany and Poland, teaching children, adolescents and adults alike. Thanks to my broad musical background — ranging from classical music to heavy rock — I am able to adapt easily to the individual stylistic preferences and needs of my students. In my teaching practice I work with techniques such as Speech Level Singing (SLS) and Flow Phonation, always combining vocal technique with body awareness, breath work and psychological safety. I currently pursue a doctoral degree in Music Performance, focusing my academic research on working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly people on the autism spectrum. My research also addresses vocal pedagogy for individuals affected by anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, psychosomatic tension and other neuropsychological challenges. This specialization strongly informs both my academic writing and my daily teaching practice. Due to my frequent travels across Europe, I also offer online lessons. I am never without my portable piano — it tends to travel with me almost everywhere.

In my first couple of singing lessons ever, Amy has already taught me so much about my voice. She hears things I don't and corrects me and most important, she makes me feel comfortable singing. She also tells me when I sound good which gives me so much confidence. Strong recommendation for her! Thank you Amy 🙌
