My name is Alex Brown. I like to use a student or parent/guardian-led methodology. I am an understanding, kind and patient young man who will listen to the concerns of the student or parent, and try to address these problems through giving them a fundamental understanding of the course material.
I will cater to students of all ages. However, before our meeting takes place, I would love for the student or guardian to send an overview of what they would like to achieve/ learn in our first few meetings. But, I am more than happy for the parent or guardian attend the first few meetings if they would like to discuss anything at all.
My expert topic is Chemistry. However, I am willing to teach general Science, Mathematics, Physics and Biology. I hold a first class degree in Chemistry. I also have lots of 1 day experiences teaching students individually in classrooms. I have acted as a 1-to-1 mentor, offline, on many occasions, however, I am now seeking to utilise my passions and strengths in chemistry, science and mathematics within an online community.
My real-world experiences include several years working at a National Chemistry Lab in the United Kingdom and holding the MRSC status with the Royal Society of Chemistry. I am very happy to talk about these experiences with you or a member of your family.
