Over 15 years of experience in SQL across multiple databases i.e. Oracle, SQLServer, DB2 and Big Data Hive and Impala. Install brand new sample database, create new tables as well as run simple/complex SELECT statements. UI mapping with the underlying database system. Web-Services and their usage. Ability to teach from scratch to students who have no prior knowledge or background. Potential students are high-school, college students as well as IT professionals who would like to dive into the subject.

Hello, My preferred methodology is Problem Based learning with main areas stated below. I've taught both individual and group students but due to current Covid situation, I am teaching online only. My methodology is as follows. However, I am open to suggestion and flexible depending on student's needs. 1) Develop of critical thinking and creative skills. 2) Improve problem solving abilities 3) Motivate my students. 4) Share knowledge. 5) Student don't have to shy away in asking questions. I would first like to assess the students on the fundamentals of the subject and then come up with a learning plan for them. Thanks, Akmal
